Decrease Your Mile Time!
Believe it or not, growing up I was a track runner but I never did any type of long-distance running, I was a short sprinting runner. Fast forward to today I never thought I’d be running mile after mile willingly for fun. I’ve always set big challenges for myself so one day I woke up and decided I wanted to run a sub-5-minute mile because to be challenging myself and just being the best overall athlete has always been my #1 goal.
This program is a very specific and a pretty intense four-week program with two track workouts a week and the other days being either “easy” recovery runs or long distance runs.
If your someone who is looking to drastically improve not only your running abilities but also your cardiovascular health then this program is definitely for you. Now I am in no way an “advanced” distance runner, however, when I was training to run my sub-5-minute mile these are some of the exact types of workouts and daily running splits that I was doing every day. I had a lot of help designing and setting up from a lot of my very good friends and coaches who were and are right now very elite distance runners. So, to sum it all up this 4-week running program is very detail-oriented and will for sure kick your a** and will definitely decrease your mile time if you are putting to hard work and effort!
